Arjun conceptualized the idea of gF-India during his engineering days at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi in 2009 undertaking many economic and environmental research and activities to protect the natural habitat around the pristine Mesra campus surrounded by Jhumar and Subarnarekha rivers. He was the founding President of Entrepreneurship Development Cell at BIT Mesra. He interned with HUDCO & DMRC (L&T) on low-cost housing and mass urban transportation projects respectively.
In 2011, after graduating with a civil engineering degree, he started his career in the education sector with his first assignment on designing a TVET program strategy for NSKFDC, a developmental financing agency under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (GOI), for eliminating the manual scavenging practice in the western UP region by 2015.
From 2017 -2019, he then served at UNDP India as Project Design & Partnership officer in the State Outreach and SDG Integration Team doing extensive work in building programs in environment, agriculture, circular economy, energy, water and sanitation, skill development and education, climate-change resilient livelihoods. These include the assignments with Governments of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Odisha, Uttarakhand, North Eastern States, Karnataka, Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, and A&N Islands (under Ministry of Home Affairs).
Arjun has graduated with Master of Management Studies (MBA) from IIM Ahemdabad where his final year project was “Role and Application of Digital Technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Blockchain & IoT) in the Agribusiness value chain” & first-year project on “Understanding Agri-value chains for primary producer companies – A Case study from Madhya Pradesh” both under Dr Sukhpal Singh, Professor and Chairperson, Centre for Management in Agriculture, IIM Ahmadabad.
He has also done Bachelor of Law from Campus Law Center, University of Delhi and MDP in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from IIM Kozhikode. Since childhood, he has been a follower of teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Swami Chinmayanada Saraswati. He has recently been practising Iyengar Yoga at New Delhi.

Tanu is a development professional with over 6 years of program implementation experience working on issues ranging from climate change, environment and rural livelihoods. She is registered as a Rehabilitation Officer with Rehabilitation Council of India.
She has a dual post-graduate degree in Health Management from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia and Masters of Social work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She has done her Bachelors in Psychology from IP College for Women, University of Delhi.
